The challenge
Utah is seeing a wave of large data center proposals, and lawmakers are weighing how the state should handle their power use, tax treatment, incentives and local approvals.
What Alpen does
Alpen advises the committee on the economic, tax, financial and regulatory implications of new data center policy. Our team has led statewide economic development and has taken a 1.5 GW data campus through county approval, so we bring both the public and the developer view.
