Alpen Systems produced the 2026 edition of the Northern Utah Economic Alliance’s annual labor profile, adding a new industry cluster section and coding the report so it updates cleanly each year.

The challenge
NUEA has published a labor and economic overview of northern Utah for five years. For the 2026 edition, it wanted deeper analysis of the region’s industries and a report that would be easier to update year after year.
What Alpen did
Alpen analyzed the region’s workforce, industry clusters and growth outlook, and added a new, detailed industry cluster section. We coded the report so NUEA can refresh it cleanly with each year’s data.
Outcome
