Northern Utah Labor and Demographic Profile 2026
Alpen Systems produced the 2026 edition of the Northern Utah Economic Alliance’s annual labor profile, adding a new industry cluster section and coding the report so it updates cleanly each year.
The challenge
NUEA has published a labor and economic overview of northern Utah for five years. For the 2026 edition, it wanted deeper analysis of the region’s industries and a report that would be easier to update year after year.
What Alpen did
Alpen analyzed the region’s workforce, industry clusters and growth outlook, and added a new, detailed industry cluster section. We coded the report so NUEA can refresh it cleanly with each year’s data.
Outcome
NUEA published the report in August 2026. Because Alpen coded the analysis for automated updates, future editions will cost about half as much to produce, saving NUEA thousands of dollars a year.
